J T Blight's book was compiled from a series of articles that he had written for the Gentleman's Magazine during the years 1862 to 1864. They represent a record of Cornish church architecture as it was around the middle of the nineteenth century. The book is profusely illustrated by line drawings. This is a facsimile reprint of the second edition, 1885.
The author is perhaps best known for his book a Week at the Land's End.
